The taps are flowing and the haunt is on across Downtown Manteo as Roanoke Island transforms into “Halloween Island” for the entire month of October.
Grounded in the eerie history of the 1587 Lost Colony, the island’s waterfront social district comes alive with 13 distinct pop-up bars and specialty cocktails pairing haunting tavern atmospheres with direct relief for local families through the Outer Banks Relief Foundation.
