American Red Cross hosts blood drive Oct. 16 in Southern Shores

The American Red Cross will hold a community blood drive on Friday, October 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the Pitts Center in Southern Shores.

Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance by visiting redcross.org/give-blood.html, though walk-ins are also welcome.

The Pitts Center is located at 5375 N. Virginia Dare Trail.
