The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Outer Banks Mobile Auto Service, a locally owned business that brings routine vehicle maintenance to customers’ homes and workplaces.
Brian Scherer, an Outer Banks local with more than 10 years of experience as a professional mechanic, built the business, along with his wife, Kayla Walker, around a custom, mess-free oil change system that lets him handle preventative maintenance wherever it’s most convenient for the customer. Services include oil changes, tire rotations and repairs, brake jobs, and filter and wiper blade replacement, with no drop-offs, waiting rooms or rides to arrange. The company serves Dare and Currituck counties, from Corolla to Hatteras.
The ceremony, kicked off by Chamber Board Chair Melissa Harrison, brought together Chamber Board members, Ambassador Committee members and friends of the business to welcome Scherer and Walker as new Chamber members. Scherer cut the ribbon.
“Your time is valuable,” said Brian Scherer, co-owner of Outer Banks Mobile Auto Service. “We look forward to serving this community by bringing convenient, professional auto maintenance and repair directly to your home, workplace or vacation property so you can spend your day doing what matters most.” To schedule service, call (252) 202-3244 or visit https://www.outerbanksmobileauto.com/.
